About Anthony Van Alstine

A graduate of Christendom College, located in the Shenandoah Valley, with a BA in philosophy, Anthony has always enjoyed working with his hands, especially in the outdoors. He has worked many jobs including various farm work, carpentry, mechanic work, and lawn care. Throughout high school, he also volunteered as a cadet and then as a firefighter at the local fire department.

Through college he worked as a carpenter's assistant, and after graduation was hired full-time as a project lead for a locally owned residential construction company, which specialized in high-end remodels, custom homes, and high quality deck builds.

With a growing conviction to prioritize quality and craftsmanship, he started Van Alstine Construction, LLC; building decks, as well as performing remodels, carpentry projects, and renovations. Drawing on over 6 years of experience in residential construction, Anthony delivers quality craftsmanship.

When not on a job site, Anthony can be found playing with his daughters or attempting to conquer his wife's unending list of household projects.
